Last Christmas I would try to get him excited about ripping presents by starting them for him and it never caught his eye, but maybe totally off the gift it will hold some appeal... Worth a shot!!

Thanks :)Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11216232399175411638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3548786058973919828.post-31636203345633120682012-12-06T08:14:48.387-08:002012-12-06T08:14:48.387-08:00Does he like ripping wrapping paper? There are MILLIONS of little pieces all over the floor, but she's happy as a clam to sit with us and shred wrapping paper while we unwrap our gifts. She's happy and included on christmas morning, and all we have to pay for it is a little extra time cleaning up scraps.

And for my older daughter, she holds the bag and periodically tells Lily to put all the scraps in the garbage, and Lily will collect them all up and throw them in...and then pull them all out and start ripping again until Emma tells her it's time to toss them again.

Last year is the first time we ever tried that. Lily was "with us" for the first christmas ever as a result.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11538573774184028004noreply@blogger.com
